Sound mixer in Orlando

Orlando is a straight shot up I-4 from my Tampa home base — about 90 minutes with my complete package in the truck. No airfare, no gear cartage, no hotel on single-day shoots. Full-time production sound mixer since 2008, with thousands of broadcast credits for networks including ESPN, ABC, HBO, TNT, BBC, Discovery Channel, NatGeo, NFL Network, MLB Network and HGTV.

What I record in Orlando

Convention corridor to the attractions

  • Convention & corporate — Orlando is one of America's biggest convention towns. Trade-show interviews, exec sit-downs, event capture and branded content on the convention-center clock: get in, get clean audio, get out.
  • Commercials & branded content — spots and brand films around the attractions, resorts and sports venues, with IFB monitoring for the agency.
  • Documentary & broadcast — network crews come through Orlando constantly. I've spent 18+ years doing ENG and broadcast work at their pace, including plenty of days at Central Florida's stadiums and sports complexes.

The math on hiring Tampa-based sound

Cheaper than flying anyone in

  • Mileage, not airfare — travel past 50 miles from Tampa is billed at the standard federal mileage rate. For Orlando that's a fraction of a flight, baggage fees for gear cases, and a rental car.
  • Day shoots need no hotel — 90 minutes each way means I'm at your Orlando call time in the morning and gone after wrap.
  • Same package, anywhere — Sound Devices 833, wireless lavs, boom, timecode, IFB and redundant recording travel with me. Full gear list →

Experience that shows up on the day

Full-time since 2008

  • Thousands of broadcast productions — ESPN, ABC, HBO, TNT, BBC, Discovery, NatGeo, NFL Network, MLB Network, HGTV, Netflix and Fox Sports.
  • Every kind of Florida set: documentary, ENG/broadcast and commercial.
  • One sound department, no hand-holding — I show up with everything and handle audio start to finish.
Central Florida, covered. Orlando, Kissimmee, Winter Park, Lake Buena Vista, Daytona and everything along I-4. Multi-day shoots across Central Florida are routine — and if your production moves, I move with it.
